Responsibilities
- Create custom engine editor tools and plugins.
- Build asset import/export pipelines and workflow automation.
- Develop build systems and deployment infrastructure.
- Create developer productivity tools and debugging utilities.
- Build integration systems for external tools and services.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing tools for game development or interactive content teams.
- Strong C++ experience with modern game engine technology such as Unreal, Unity, Godot, or proprietary engines.
- Deep understanding of editor architecture, plugin systems, and extensibility patterns.
- Experience building asset pipelines and content management workflows.
- A UX mindset for developer-facing tools.
- Preferred experience with multiple game engines and their tooling ecosystems.
- Preferred proficiency in Python, C#, Lua, or similar scripting languages.
- CI/CD and DevOps experience is a bonus.
- Experience integrating DCC tools such as Maya, Blender, or Substance is a bonus.
- Experience with version control systems and asset management at scale is a bonus.
