Base Salary
$180k - $440k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create and drive engineering agendas for image and video generation, editing, understanding, controllable and long-horizon synthesis, agentic planning, RL training, world simulation, and audio integration.
- Improve visual and audio data quality through annotation, filtering, augmentation, synthetic generation, captioning, and data studies.
- Design evaluation frameworks, metrics, benchmarks, evaluations, and reward models for image, video, and audio quality and coherence.
- Implement efficient algorithms for state-of-the-art performance, including real-time inference, distillation, and scalable visual-content serving.
- Develop scalable collection and processing pipelines for multimodal datasets, primarily focused on images and video.
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI solutions into production and iterate based on user feedback.
Requirements
- Track record of leading studies that materially improve neural network capabilities through better data or modeling.
- Experience designing data-driven experiments, performing systematic analysis, and iteratively debugging models.
- Experience developing or working with large-scale distributed machine learning systems.
- Ability to deliver optimal end-to-end user experiences as a hands-on contributor.
- Preferred experience with SFT, reinforcement learning, evaluations, human or synthetic data collection, or agentic systems.
- Preferred proficiency in Python, JAX/XLA, PyTorch, Rust/C++, Spark, Ray, and related large-scale frameworks.
- Preferred expertise in graphics engines, rendering, image or video understanding and generation, world models, real-time simulation, controllable or long-horizon visual content creation, or audio and speech processing.
- Preferred experience with agentic RL training or multimodal agents that reason and act across modalities.
