Responsibilities
- Own and define technical architecture for Oracle Utilities CC&B solutions.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Lead CC&B configuration, customization, extension, integration, and interface architecture.
- Design integrations with Oracle Utilities MDM, Oracle Utilities WAM, Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service, ERP and finance systems, payment systems, CRM applications, and metering platforms.
- Define integration patterns using REST and SOAP web services, batch processing, file-based integrations, and messaging frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership for OUAF, CC&B Framework, SDK, Java, Groovy, SQL, database, and development framework solutions.
- Review technical designs, development approaches, code quality, solution architecture, and technical deliverables.
- Establish technical standards, development guidelines, reusable components, and best practices.
- Resolve complex CC&B, integration, performance, and production environment issues.
- Lead performance tuning, scalability, availability, optimization, data conversion, migration, interface, and deployment activities.
- Define application, database, integration, and environment architecture with infrastructure and cloud teams.
- Ensure security, authentication, authorization, data protection, and access controls are incorporated into solutions.
- Provide technical guidance during SIT, UAT, performance testing, and production deployment.
- Participate in architecture reviews, advise client and project leadership, and mentor CC&B technical developers.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of professional experience is required.
- At least 10 years of experience in Oracle Utilities and 7 years of hands-on Oracle Utilities CC&B experience are required.
- Experience leading technical architecture and design activities for Oracle Utilities implementations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) and Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
- Experience with CC&B technical components including business services, service scripts, zones, algorithms, batches, and extensions.
- Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, SQL, XML, JSON, REST, and SOAP web services.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL performance, data models, and database optimization.
- Experience with CC&B development tools, SDKs, technical frameworks, performance engineering, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, source control, build, and deployment processes is desirable.
- Experience with cloud-based Oracle Utilities implementations is advantageous.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
