Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality software solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure software code meets design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation while validating their outputs.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets and develop visualizations and reporting to improve software applications and systems.
- Identify problems and patterns in data to improve coding practices and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and promote an inclusive, respectful team culture.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud infrastructure, SRE, Terraform, and scripting.
- Experience building software with AI tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, including hands-on evaluation and refinement of AI-generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and experience maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
- Experience with modern programming languages and database querying languages, plus knowledge of the software development life cycle.
- Understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred familiarity with Spring Boot, Java, React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git, REST, AWS, and Terraform.
