Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical design and development of enterprise-scale Java applications.
- Own solution architecture for modules and domains, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Drive modernization initiatives including monolith-to-microservices migration and cloud adoption.
- Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Review architecture, code, and designs for quality and maintainability.
- Mentor and guide engineers and strengthen technical capability within teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, DevOps, QA, and product teams on integration and delivery.
- Act as the technical escalation point for complex issues and production challenges.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on Java-based software development experience; the posting also specifies 10–15 years for the role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MCA, or a master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead in enterprise systems and product development environments.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, Angular or React, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
- Understanding of design patterns, object-oriented programming, scalable architectures, performance tuning, JVM optimization, and system reliability.
- Experience with Docker, cloud platforms, event-driven architectures, messaging systems, container orchestration, monitoring, and observability tools.
- Familiarity with domain-driven design or enterprise integration patterns.
- Understanding of product development lifecycle and Lean Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, attention-to-detail, learning, teamwork, and continuous-improvement abilities.
