Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical design and development of enterprise-scale Java applications.
- Own solution architecture for modules and domains, including scalability, performance, and reliability decisions.
- Drive modernization initiatives such as monolith-to-microservices migration and cloud adoption.
- Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Review architecture, code, and designs for quality and maintainability.
- Mentor and guide engineers and act as the technical escalation point for complex and production issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, DevOps, QA, and product teams to support integration and delivery.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on Java-based software development experience on global or enterprise projects; the posting also specifies 10–15 years of experience.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead in enterprise systems and in product development or modernization environments.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, distributed-system design, SQL Server, MongoDB, performance tuning, JVM optimization, and system reliability.
- Experience with Docker, cloud platforms, CI/CD, event-driven architectures, messaging systems, monitoring, observability, and container orchestration such as Kubernetes or AKS.
- Working knowledge of Angular or React and familiarity with domain-driven design or enterprise integration patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MCA, or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, scalable architectures, product development lifecycle, and Lean Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written English communication, analytical and problem-solving ability, attention to detail, flexibility, self-motivation, and teamwork.
