Responsibilities
- Develop Teamcenter customizations, ITK services, SOA integrations, Active Workspace extensions, workflows, and enterprise integrations.
- Administer databases through backups, recovery, indexing, statistics management, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Install, configure, operate, patch, upgrade, migrate, and refresh Teamcenter environments and components.
- Configure and operate Pool Manager, FSC/FCC, Dispatcher, TcServer, volume management, BMIDE packages, Active Workspace, and Deployment Center.
- Manage high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring, observability, incident response, and production support.
- Analyze logs and troubleshoot performance issues across database, application, and server tiers.
- Build and perform realistic load and performance tests to validate capacity, resource sizing, and upgrade readiness.
- Collaborate with PLM developers, infrastructure teams, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience administering Teamcenter environments in production.
- Deep experience with Teamcenter architecture and administration, including 2-tier/4-tier deployment, FMS, Pool Manager, Dispatcher, and TcServer.
- Experience deploying BMIDE packages, administering Active Workspace, managing volumes and files, and using Deployment Center.
- Experience with Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, and environment refreshes, including releases from 14.x through 2506/25.x.
- Strong database administration fundamentals covering performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, backup and recovery, security, and access management.
- Experience managing high availability, disaster recovery, and patching for large enterprise applications.
- U.S. Person status required to access export-controlled data.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, multisite configuration, Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, Jenkins, Ansible, cloud platforms, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Preferred experience in hyper-growth startup-like environments or aerospace and defense manufacturing.
- Preferred eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
