Responsibilities
- Build and scale backend systems for salary advance, FGTS, and consignado lending products.
- Develop and refine APIs supporting an instant in-app experience.
- Build and maintain payroll-linked and FGTS lending integrations with strong uptime requirements.
- Collaborate with product, credit, compliance, and analytics teams.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team standards for quality, security, and operational excellence.
- Share knowledge with and support junior engineers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend engineering experience with ownership of meaningful work.
- Strong experience with Kotlin and/or Java.
- Solid working knowledge of AWS, PostgreSQL, and ECS.
- Experience building consumer-facing systems at real transaction volumes.
- Fluent Portuguese and advanced English at C1 level.
- Comfort using AI-powered development tools, including Claude.
- Fintech, lending, payments, or regulated-environment experience is preferred.
