Responsibilities
- Build and improve core backend or frontend components of Maxima’s accounting automation product.
- Develop backend systems for high-volume financial data, accounting workflows, and platform infrastructure, or frontend experiences for complex enterprise workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and customers to ship high-quality features end to end.
- Take ownership of product work with a focus on correctness, reliability, and real-world enterprise problems.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building products at high-growth companies.
- Familiarity with web development, relational databases, and distributed systems.
- Experience with TypeScript, React, Redux, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with data pipelines, mission-critical systems such as fintech, or complex workflow engines is a plus.
- Willingness to work in person five days per week in downtown San Mateo.
