Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable backend services and APIs connecting design tools to AI models and Roblox Studio.
- Develop agentic workflows and orchestration layers, including Model Context Protocol servers, for generating UI components, layouts, and prototypes.
- Build automated deployment pipelines and infrastructure that provide zero-configuration development environments for designers.
- Design and maintain data architecture connecting design systems with AI data sources and synchronizing design tokens and components across platforms.
- Create internal tools, Figma and Cursor plugins, and web applications for design linting, code generation, and automated compliance.
- Act as the technical bridge between core engineering, AI research, and product design while ensuring tools are secure, performant, and structurally sound.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on full-stack or backend development, systems architecture, and API design.
- Experience building scalable internal services rather than only frontend interfaces.
- Familiarity with LLM orchestration, agentic workflows, and AI protocols such as MCP.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, feature-flag management, GitHub Enterprise, and automated deployment pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Figma plugin architecture and programmatic parsing and manipulation of design data at scale.
- Preferred: experience with Roblox development, Lua, React-Lua, or game-engine UI architecture.
- Preferred: experience with abstract syntax trees, compiler logic, or automated code generation.

- For roles based at the San Mateo headquarters, the stated annual base salary range is $176,940-$214,710 USD.
