Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, and regulatory-compliant FinTech solutions across payments, wallets, lending, merchant transactions, and financial ecosystem integrations.
- Analyze customer operations, transaction flows, risk controls, compliance requirements, and technical landscapes to define solution scope.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs covering cloud, APIs, microservices, protocols, and core financial systems.
- Lead customer workshops, requirements sessions, technical deep-dives, presentations, and consultative solution discussions.
- Prepare architecture documents and technical proposals and support commercial teams with solution positioning, negotiation, and value articulation.
- Provide architectural governance and implementation support through development, integration, testing, rollout, and deployment.
- Conduct infrastructure capacity planning, performance evaluation, and transaction-throughput modeling.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, R&D, risk, and operations teams to improve solution architecture and product capabilities.
- Mentor and guide teams and provide feedback on platform features, architecture patterns, and market needs.
Requirements
- Strong financial-domain knowledge covering digital payments, wallets, mobile money, merchant acquiring, lending, KYC/AML, fraud systems, and transaction processing.
- Deep experience with architecture design, cloud or on-premises environments, microservices, containerization, high availability, disaster recovery, performance tuning, capacity estimation, and infrastructure planning.
- Experience with ISO 8583, ISO 20022, REST/JSON APIs, SOAP, SFTP, OAuth2, JWT, and webhooks.
- Knowledge of financial compliance, risk controls, settlement, reconciliation, transaction disputes, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience applying AI/ML and automation to fraud detection, credit prediction, and operational optimization.
- Strong customer-facing, consultative, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, financial-acumen, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide teams and work with customers, partners, product, engineering, risk, operations, and commercial stakeholders.
- Academic credentials, if provided, must be from recognized and accredited institutions and are subject to verification.
