Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and expand automated UI testing for watchOS.
- Drive testing capabilities for Apple operating systems and triage test results to identify software bugs before release.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, custom tools, and testing architectures.
- Investigate, debug, and triage difficult problems independently and collaboratively.
- Work closely with development teams, management, and other Apple organizations.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Swift, and Bash.
- Experience with Git and codebase management.
- Knowledge and experience with unit, integration, performance, and functional testing methodologies.
- Experience finding, investigating, and fixing software bugs with a strong focus on quality assurance.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Preferred experience developing UI automation with Apple frameworks such as XCTest.
