Responsibilities
- Develop, test, document, maintain, and deploy scalable Java full-stack software applications.
- Perform programming, unit testing, integration, smoke testing, configuration management, release deployments, and release-note preparation.
- Participate in client requirements elicitation, functional analysis, solution architecture, and technical design.
- Coach and guide the technical team, conduct code reviews, assign tasks, and take responsibility for project code quality.
- Estimate development effort, identify risks and dependencies, and communicate project and team status to the Project Manager.
- Research technical challenges and guide adoption of development standards, design patterns, and Agile practices.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in software engineering.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, AWS technologies, and microservices.
- Experience with cloud hosting, security, authentication, authorization, Docker, TDD, and SQL.
- Front-end experience with HTML5, CSS3, JSON, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap.
- Knowledge of industry-standard development practices, lifecycle processes, methodologies, and Agile methodology.
- Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, teamwork, adaptability, and project-handling skills.
- Excellent command of English is a plus.
