Responsibilities
- Define technical solutions to business problems and contribute to a scalable architectural vision.
- Design, build, ship, and maintain complex frontend systems primarily using React.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders in a cross-functional team.
- Deploy and iterate frequently using CircleCI and Spinnaker.
- Monitor services, diagnose root causes, and deploy fixes before issues affect users.
- Own the development of team-managed services in alignment with the broader engineering strategy.
- Mentor more junior engineers.
Requirements
- Deep technical expertise in frontend engineering, including designing, building, and maintaining complex, scalable frontend systems.
- Experience working at a similar level in a mature engineering team.
- A demonstrable track record of impact in previous roles.
- Highly driven, proactive, independent, and capable of pushing through challenges to achieve excellent outcomes.
- Meticulous attention to detail and high standards.
- A degree in a STEM subject is preferred, with alternative routes and backgrounds welcomed.
