Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reusable web and mobile components for the Lexicon Design System.
- Collaborate with UX designers, accessibility specialists, and engineering teams to deliver accessible, production-ready components.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate accessibility issues in alignment with WCAG standards.
- Validate component reliability, performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility, especially in Safari and macOS environments.
- Create automated tests, documentation, implementation guidance, development standards, and adoption resources for product teams.
- Support design-system governance, versioning, release management, and developer experience improvements.
Requirements
- Require 5+ years of professional front-end development experience building modern web applications and user interfaces.
- Require strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript skills plus experience with modern front-end frameworks and development practices.
- Require experience building, maintaining, and scaling reusable component libraries or enterprise design systems.
- Require hands-on implementation experience with WCAG 2.1 and WCAG 2.2, accessibility testing, remediation, and inclusive design.
- Require experience resolving complex cross-browser compatibility issues, particularly in Safari and macOS.
- Require experience translating Figma designs into scalable, maintainable, production-ready components and creating automated tests.
- Require strong analytical, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include enterprise-scale design-system experience, design tokens, governance models, accessibility audits, responsive and mobile-first design, performance optimization, developer tooling, documentation frameworks, component showcases, versioning, release management, and modern accessibility, visual regression, and cross-browser testing tools.
