Base Salary

$95k - $176k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and ship client-facing REST APIs using an API-first approach with clearly defined contracts.
  • Build and maintain scalable cloud services processing millions of documents per month.
  • Contribute to technical decisions involving product direction, cloud infrastructure, and application architecture.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, scientists, and legal experts.
  • Mentor junior engineers, review code, provide training, and contribute to engineering culture.
  • Participate in the team’s on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 4 years of software development experience focused on cloud-native application hosting and maintenance.
  • Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and SQL, with working knowledge of Angular.
  • Experience designing and building documented client-facing REST APIs using an API-first approach and OpenAPI or Swagger.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and Git.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including testing, monitoring, and incident management.
  • Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring developers, reviewing code, and influencing technical decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
  • Preferred experience includes AWS or GCP, C++, Java, Go, Rust, MLOps, NLP, large-volume document processing, LLM applications, RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, or legal technology.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and willingness to learn are required.
