Responsibilities

  • Own and operate AWS GovCloud infrastructure supporting Aikido’s FedRAMP environment.
  • Maintain and improve Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure for reliability, performance, and security.
  • Perform cloud operations including deployments, updates, configuration changes, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Adapt and maintain a regulated version of Aikido’s broader platform.
  • Partner with leadership and cloud architecture to align environments while meeting government-specific constraints.
  • Respond to infrastructure and customer support needs requiring hands-on access inside the U.S. regulated environment.
  • Help ensure operational readiness, resilience, and compliance as the federal footprint scales.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Strong experience with AWS, ideally including AWS GovCloud.
  • Experience operating and maintaining cloud infrastructure, not just designing it.
  • Ability to own production systems, troubleshoot issues, and make pragmatic technical decisions quickly.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for access to the FedRAMP environment.
  • Preferred: experience with FedRAMP, federal, defense, or other regulated cloud environments.
  • Preferred: familiarity with compliance-driven infrastructure operations.
  • Preferred: experience supporting mirrored or duplicated environments with distributed engineering teams.
  • Preferred: background in security-focused infrastructure or cloud architecture.
