Responsibilities
- Own and operate AWS GovCloud infrastructure supporting Aikido’s FedRAMP environment.
- Maintain and improve Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure for reliability, performance, and security.
- Perform cloud operations including deployments, updates, configuration changes, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Adapt and maintain a regulated version of Aikido’s broader platform.
- Partner with leadership and cloud architecture to align environments while meeting government-specific constraints.
- Respond to infrastructure and customer support needs requiring hands-on access inside the U.S. regulated environment.
- Help ensure operational readiness, resilience, and compliance as the federal footprint scales.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Strong experience with AWS, ideally including AWS GovCloud.
- Experience operating and maintaining cloud infrastructure, not just designing it.
- Ability to own production systems, troubleshoot issues, and make pragmatic technical decisions quickly.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.
- U.S. citizenship is required for access to the FedRAMP environment.
- Preferred: experience with FedRAMP, federal, defense, or other regulated cloud environments.
- Preferred: familiarity with compliance-driven infrastructure operations.
- Preferred: experience supporting mirrored or duplicated environments with distributed engineering teams.
- Preferred: background in security-focused infrastructure or cloud architecture.
