Responsibilities
- Lead multiple complex projects from inception through production.
- Serve as a technical leader with or without direct people-management responsibility.
- Own technical challenges critical to business success and lead technical delivery on large-scale projects.
- Build new configurable features and products and contribute to the existing banking platform and internal tooling.
- Improve tooling, applications, processes, automation, architecture, and future platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with clients, solution architects, product owners, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead by example in the codebase and maintain a high standard of technical excellence.
- Coach and mentor team members to support their development.
Requirements
- Experience delivering change to critical systems in distributed environments.
- Highly proficient software development skills and a strong standard for technical and coding excellence.
- Experience delivering complex outcomes across multiple domains and teams.
- Good understanding of DevOps practices.
- Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business.
- Experience coaching and mentoring engineers.
- Experience leading technical delivery on large-scale projects.
- Java experience is relevant but not required to be expert-level on joining; aptitude, attitude, and the ability to find elegant solutions are emphasized.
