Responsibilities
- Lead multiple complex projects from inception through to operation.
- Act as a technical leader with or without direct team-management responsibilities.
- Own technical challenges critical to business success and lead large-scale projects to completion.
- Build backend features, products, platform capabilities, and internal tooling.
- Improve existing tooling, applications, processes, automation, and architecture.
- Collaborate with clients, solution architects, product owners, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute directly to the codebase and maintain a high standard of technical and coding excellence.
- Coach and mentor team members and contribute to the engineering learning culture.
Requirements
- Experience delivering changes to critical systems in distributed environments.
- Highly proficient software development skills and a strong standard of coding excellence.
- Experience delivering complex outcomes across multiple domains and teams.
- Experience leading technical delivery on large-scale projects.
- Experience coaching and mentoring engineers.
- Good understanding of DevOps practices.
- Willingness to work primarily with Java and learn or contribute across the broader technology stack.
