Responsibilities
- Build and evolve JS/TS SDKs for Supabase.
- Identify and implement new features based on developer needs.
- Manage public repositories, triage issues, and review contributions.
- Ensure correct type experience and compatibility across runtimes.
- Work on real-time functionalities like WebSocket connections.
- Update SDKs to reflect platform changes and document them.
- Write design documents, migration guides, and release notes.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, including generics and conditional types.
- Experience in authoring or maintaining a published library with a public API.
- Familiarity with open-source project maintenance and issue triage.
- Proficiency in npm packaging, including dual ESM/CJS builds.
- Strong testing habits, including unit and end-to-end testing.
- Excellent written communication skills for public documentation.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage project scope.
