Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy distributed machine learning systems and large-scale software solutions.
- Collaborate with the team to influence strategy and define the product roadmap.
- Drive system architecture and establish best practices for reliable, high-quality software.
- Build AWS AI services using machine learning and LLM technologies in the information retrieval space.
- Coach and develop junior engineers.
- Deliver software systems and services for a worldwide customer base.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience with machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing.
- Preferred: experience delivering complex software systems successfully to customers.
