Base Salary
$172k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own full-stack portal capabilities using React and TypeScript on Next.js and Node.js/TypeScript or Python services.
- Design and optimize storage for versioned specifications, agent runs, lineage, audit trails, and related metadata across relational, document, graph, and vector systems.
- Integrate AI agents and LLMs through tool calling, agent orchestration, streaming output, RAG, MCP, evaluations, and guardrails.
- Use AI agents in daily development by authoring specifications, reviewing agent-generated code and tests, and improving agentic delivery workflows.
- Perform code and design reviews, develop with testing and observability practices, operate CI/CD on Kubernetes, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience shipping and operating full-stack production systems.
- Deep hands-on experience with React and TypeScript, Next.js or a similar framework, Node.js/TypeScript or Python back ends, API design, OAuth/OIDC authentication, and Kubernetes deployment.
- Strong data modeling and database skills, especially PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, partitioning, caching, and selecting document, graph, or vector stores.
- At least one production feature built on LLMs or AI agents, beyond merely using AI coding assistants.
- Experience with developer platforms, SDLC or DevOps tooling, governance and audit systems, GitHub or GitHub Enterprise integrations, Redis, pgvector, event sourcing, knowledge graphs, LLM evaluation, agent frameworks, MCP, Playwright, OpenShift, or open-source AI projects is desirable.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a startup-style environment, handle ambiguity, ship MVPs quickly, iterate on feedback, and own outcomes end to end.
