Base Salary
$172k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own full-stack portal capabilities using React and TypeScript on Next.js and Node.js/TypeScript or Python services.
- Design and optimize relational, document, graph, and vector data storage for specifications, agent runs, lineage, and audit trails.
- Integrate LLMs and AI agents through tool calling, orchestration, streaming output, RAG, MCP, evaluations, and guardrails.
- Use agentic development tools daily by writing specifications, reviewing agent-generated code and tests, and improving delivery workflows.
- Set the technical bar through code and design reviews, test-driven development, observability, CI/CD on Kubernetes, and engineer mentoring.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience shipping and operating full-stack production systems.
- Deep hands-on React and TypeScript expertise with Next.js or a similar framework, plus Node.js/TypeScript or Python backend development.
- Experience with API design, OAuth/OIDC authentication, and containerized deployment on Kubernetes.
- Strong data modeling and database skills, especially PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, partitioning, and caching.
- At least one production feature built on LLMs or AI agents and regular use of agentic development tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is desirable.
- Experience with developer platforms, SDLC/DevOps tooling, governance and audit systems, GitHub Enterprise integrations, Redis, pgvector, event sourcing, or knowledge graphs is desirable.
- Experience with LLM evaluation and agent frameworks, MCP, Playwright end-to-end testing, Red Hat OpenShift, or open-source AI projects is desirable.
