Base Salary
$168k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Map business capabilities, processes, systems of record, ownership, and sources of operational friction across enterprise systems.
- Architect end-to-end processes spanning product introduction, CPQ, quote-to-cash, billing, revenue recognition, renewals, record-to-report, and customer service.
- Produce high-level designs, target-state architectures, decision records, reference patterns, data models, mappings, error handling, and failure-mode specifications.
- Serve as an embedded architect for Applications engineering teams working with Salesforce, NetSuite, Zuora, Zendesk, Workato, and other core platforms.
- Govern application changes, data-model changes, third-party packages, platform upgrades, customization levels, and architectural standards.
- Design API-first integrations, event-driven patterns, batch pipelines, data warehouse models, reverse ETL, data contracts, and AI data-access boundaries.
- Define integration, identity, access-management, secrets-handling, AI-agent tool-interface, platform, and cloud-service patterns.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Data, enterprise AI, and engineering teams on reliability, authentication, authorization, non-functional requirements, and AI governance.
- Conduct platform health checks and monitor customization, API limits, automation, storage, transaction volumes, AI consumption, licenses, and cloud costs.
- Lead through influence by co-authoring designs, resolving technical ambiguity, building proofs of concept, root-causing production defects, and reducing technical debt.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in application architecture and data architecture, with working fluency in business-process and technology architecture.
- Hands-on experience with integration, automation, applied AI, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, agent orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails.
- Experience architecting ERP, CRM, CPQ, billing, financial, and customer-service platforms while maintaining standard, upgradeable, and SOX-compliant designs.
- Expert-level knowledge of data modeling, integration architecture patterns, API design, data warehouses, and ELT, ETL, and reverse ETL pipelines.
- Depth with iPaaS tooling and production integration operations, including cost and consumption optimization, plus working knowledge of cloud platforms.
- Experience driving architectural change through influence, adopting standards across teams, participating in review forums, and communicating trade-offs to Director and VP stakeholders.
- Strong judgment regarding where AI, deterministic automation, or human work should be used in enterprise processes.
