Base Salary
$141k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test full-stack applications using browser APIs, web servers, and frontend frameworks.
- Improve web application architecture, deployment, configuration, build systems, component libraries, style guides, and responsiveness.
- Evaluate and adopt open-source solutions and optimize user interaction workflows across UI applications.
- Collaborate with UI experts on user experience and visual design decisions.
- Work with development teams to improve the usability of cross-service APIs.
- Implement linting, static typing, unit testing, and functional and integration testing practices.
- Partner with Product Management to review, refine, and establish product goals.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer problems through collaboration with stakeholders and peers.
- Build products that improve network segmentation and protect data centers and cloud stacks from attacks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least two years of experience building UI for modern web applications or custom UI frameworks at scale.
- Strong software engineering, design-pattern, problem-solving, and code-optimization fundamentals.
- Experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, ES6+, CSS levels, and HTML5+ standards.
- At least two years of experience with React; Redux, TanStack, and Reselect familiarity is a plus.
- At least two years of experience with Node.js for web services and developer tools, including API design, performance optimization, and production deployment.
- At least two years of experience with TypeScript and Cypress; Jest and React Testing Library knowledge is a plus.
- Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and Jenkins experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to UI aesthetics and detail, passion for software development, continuous learning, and effective teamwork.
