Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, operate, maintain, and improve high-scale software applications across the full engineering stack.
- Develop cloud-native microservices and apply serverless, microservices, continuous delivery, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Integrate systems with internal platforms including Data Fabric and CSA Toolset.
- Participate in architecture, technology roadmap, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other team activities.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product and system issues affecting network or service operations and quality.
- Research and develop software applications while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to data and information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of experience writing, debugging, and troubleshooting Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- At least 5 years of experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure and with designing and developing cloud-native solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and developing Java and Spring Boot microservices using GCP SDKs and GKE/Kubernetes.
- At least 5 years of experience deploying and releasing software with Jenkins pipelines and working with Helm Charts and Terraform constructs.
- Preferred qualifications include big-data processing with Dataflow, Apache Beam, Bigtable, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, GCS, Composer, or Airflow; UI development with Angular, Bootstrap, or React; and AI model development experience.
- Preferred qualifications include Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, SOA, microservices, SVN/Git/GitHub, Maven, Gradle, SQL Server, MySQL, JIRA, Confluence, modern JDK, JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, and SoapUI.
