Responsibilities
- Develop scalable web services and high-performance batch-processing frameworks.
- Automate decision-making workflows and validate data objects.
- Lead migrations from legacy systems to scalable, open-source architectures.
- Develop readers, processors, writers, job listeners, retry logic, skip policies, checkpointing, and restart mechanisms.
- Deploy builds across on-premise and cloud environments through development, testing, UAT, and production.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to identify failures, bottlenecks, and operational risks.
- Deploy and manage containerized microservices.
- Participate in architecture discussions and define enterprise batch-processing standards.
- Provide production support, perform root cause analysis, and tune performance for financial batch workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Five years of experience in the position offered, as a Senior Lead Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or in a related technical occupation.
- Five years of experience designing complex web applications and large-scale software solutions.
- Five years of experience developing Java-based web services, client-server and distributed real-time applications, and high-volume concurrent server-side systems.
- Five years of experience with SQL Server, MQ, Kafka, Java/J2EE, UI technologies, Spring, myBatis, Gradle, REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
- Experience with software development standards and practices and the full software development life cycle.
