Responsibilities
- Develop frameworks to streamline web services development and automate decision-making workflows.
- Design and implement high-performance frameworks capable of processing millions of records.
- Develop end-to-end batch components, including readers, processors, writers, listeners, retry logic, skip policies, checkpointing, and restart mechanisms.
- Lead migrations from legacy systems to scalable, open-source architectures.
- Deploy and promote builds across on-premise and cloud environments through development, testing, user acceptance testing, and production.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to identify failures, bottlenecks, and operational risks.
- Participate in architecture discussions and define enterprise batch-processing standards.
- Provide production support, perform root cause analysis, and tune performance for financial batch workflows.
- Use containerization technologies to deploy and manage microservices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Five years of experience in the position offered, as a Senior Lead Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or a related technical occupation.
- Five years of experience designing complex web applications and large-scale software solutions.
- Five years of experience developing Java-based web services, client-server and distributed real-time applications, and high-volume server-side systems.
- Experience with database concepts and SQL Server.
- Experience with MQ and Kafka messaging protocols.
- Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, myBatis, Gradle, SQL Server, UI technologies, and web services using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
- Experience with software development lifecycle practices, standards development, and coding best practices.
