Base Salary
$110k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain middleware services using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, and/or C#/.NET.
- Build and support APIs and web services integrating web, mobile, backend, and database platforms.
- Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performing enterprise integration solutions.
- Draft and review architectural diagrams, technical specifications, business requirements, and design documents.
- Collaborate with PMO, product, business, technical operations, systems engineering, infrastructure, network, and architecture teams.
- Adopt new technologies and contribute to modernization and next-generation solution development.
- Review technical designs and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Mentor junior developers and support team technical growth and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, code architecture, CI/CD, and SOA.
- Hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, TypeScript, Node.js, Kafka, and ActiveMQ.
- Experience with J2EE, Servlets, Tomcat, and Maven-based development.
- Experience developing REST, SOAP, and JSON APIs and web services.
- Proficiency with Oracle, DB2, and/or Sybase databases.
- Experience developing scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend and integration solutions.
- Experience supporting mobile, digital, or customer-facing platform integrations and complex enterprise middleware environments.
- Experience mentoring and guiding other developers, reviewing technical designs, and contributing to architecture decisions.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, communicate effectively, and collaborate in an enterprise technology environment.
- Familiarity with financial products, services, workflows, or financial-services technology environments.
- Preferred experience includes C#/.NET, C++, Linux, Unix, open-source platforms, enterprise messaging, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, mobile services platforms, digital transformation, and financial services.
