Base Salary
$157k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and iterate on Stepful’s learning management system, including adaptive learning, peer engagement, gamification, and motivational features.
- Build career services tools that help graduates find jobs, including generative-AI-powered resume and interview support.
- Design and maintain platforms for instructors, teaching assistants, coaches, and operators.
- Build technology for generating and managing educational content at scale.
- Develop reliable and accessible data pipelines for business, learning, and operations teams.
- Own the full development lifecycle across frontend and backend systems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with ownership of the entire development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with React and TypeScript on the frontend.
- Backend experience with one or more of Python, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails.
- Ability to solve complex problems, learn new technologies, and work effectively in an early-stage company.
- Direct-to-consumer startup experience, particularly in EdTech or healthcare, is preferred.
