Base Salary
$140k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement business software, underlying APIs, and LivePerson Voice product components.
- Create platform-independent applications for multi-browser and multi-operating-system environments.
- Participate in architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and engineering KPI decisions.
- Develop unit and automated end-to-end tests for new and existing features.
- Produce engineering specifications, delivery estimates, technical documentation, and product solutions.
- Collaborate with product management, peers, customers, and partners through specifications, code reviews, testing, and solution delivery.
- Participate in standups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building enterprise-class, multi-tenant application platforms.
- 5+ years of Java programming and Spring Boot-style framework experience.
- 2+ years of experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, or equivalent frameworks.
- 3+ years of experience building distributed RESTful microservices.
- 3+ years of experience with Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, NoSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Firestore.
- Strong object-oriented design, web protocols, distributed systems architecture, scalability, performance, and reliability experience.
- Experience developing cloud software services with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Kubernetes, such as GKE, and Git.
- Experience with Linux and Windows administration.
- Strong communication skills and experience with Agile development methodology.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred experience includes Angular or Vue user interfaces, voice and messaging applications, telephony, CRM or CTI integrations, and reactive programming.
