Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code modules for provisioning and managing Microsoft Azure cloud resources.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments across multiple environments.
- Apply cloud security, NIST 800 controls, least-privilege access, logging, naming, and compliance standards.
- Manage shared Azure resources, Terraform modules, code repositories, container deployments, and DevOps task libraries.
- Integrate SonarQube, Fortify, and Parasoft into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot complex cloud, authentication, state migration, and deployment issues.
- Support Azure Container Registry and Azure Kubernetes Service deployments.
- Provide workload teams with Terraform and cloud best-practice training and mentorship.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, review pull requests, and provide technical feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with five or more years of experience, master’s degree with three or more years, or PhD with zero years of related experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- Three to five years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or a related IT discipline.
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure and proficiency with Terraform.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, YAML-based pipeline configuration, Git, and source-control workflows.
- Understanding of containerization concepts, Docker, Azure Container Registry, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Familiarity with NIST 800 security controls and cloud security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure Administrator Associate certification, Terraform Enterprise, Artifactory, Dynatrace or HP LoadRunner, Flyway, Java or similar software development experience, and federal or regulated-enterprise experience.
