Base Salary
$247k - $320k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, scale, and operationalize FOX’s next-generation quality engineering platform.
- Develop self-service quality capabilities including natural-language test scripting, self-healing automation, and real-time test triggers.
- Own a quality framework spanning backend, frontend, data, and live-streaming environments.
- Build dashboards and telemetry for regression risk, defect leakage, code quality, and quality thresholds.
- Establish AI/ML-powered test optimization, shift-left practices, and developer-focused tooling.
- Partner with engineering, product, and DevOps leaders to embed quality across the software development lifecycle.
- Influence in-house engineers and vendor partners to drive tooling adoption and a quality culture.
- Evangelize FOX’s unified quality vision and platform internally and externally.
Requirements
- 15+ years of engineering experience, including at least five years in senior-level platform or infrastructure architecture roles.
- Proven experience establishing engineering standards for high-scale, low-latency distributed backend systems using technologies such as Golang, Java, and AWS.
- Proven success building and scaling internal platforms used by software engineering teams.
- Deep hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks, observability, developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and quality telemetry.
- Experience integrating AI/ML into testing workflows, including natural-language test creation and self-healing scripts.
- Experience with Momentic, Mabl, Postman, Appium, Playwright, or similar development and testing platforms.
- Track record of building quality frameworks in high-scale SaaS, streaming, or digital media environments.
- Experience transforming manual QA cultures into developer-owned quality models.
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional influence with engineers, product managers, and executives.
- Experience supporting high-concurrency live environments such as sports streaming is preferred.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions, test orchestration, and test data management platforms is preferred.
