Responsibilities
- Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test summaries.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Perform manual testing of web-based and API-based applications, including complex scenarios, edge cases, and user experience issues.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other cross-functional teams to identify test scenarios and align with business objectives.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, document, and track defects and discrepancies through resolution.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries for data validation and verification.
- Support test strategy activities involving the integration of multiple applications and systems.
- Provide technical guidance on QA processes, tools, and methodologies and proactively resolve or escalate issues.
- Use AI-powered tools and Agentic AI/GenAI assistants to improve test design, automation, defect analysis, root-cause investigation, and QE productivity.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in complete software testing activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC and proficiency with software testing automation tools.
- Strong technical proficiency with Java, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, and Python.
- In-depth SQL knowledge for data manipulation, querying, and validation.
- Experience with Postman and RestAssured for API-based testing.
- Experience using Linux operating-system command-line tools.
- Experience supporting test strategy for integrated applications and systems and testing web-based and API-based systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- AI fluency using AI-powered tools and Agentic AI/GenAI assistants for quality engineering is expected.
- Experience with indices, benchmarks, asset management, portfolio investment modeling, or market data asset classes is preferred.
