Responsibilities
- Architect, build, test, and refine Gusto’s iOS app and supporting mobile web views.
- Utilize AI agents to enhance productivity and output quality.
- Identify and advocate for best practices in architecture and processes.
- Enhance and maintain iOS mobile infrastructure, including build pipelines and testing automation.
- Build and scale foundational services like push notifications and localization features.
- Develop and improve product features that integrate core business functions.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and partner teams to address technical and customer pain points.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in mobile software engineering, with at least 10 years in Swift and iOS.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build cross-functional partnerships.
- Self-driven mindset with experience in tackling greenfield projects.
- Proficiency in iOS testing frameworks and best practices.
- Experience in developing scalable platform components and common features.
- Strong critical thinking abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn continuously and mentor others.
