Base Salary

$130k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

Build and launch the consumer membership web application on Shopify and Recharge.
Maintain and improve the membership platform after launch.
Monitor and optimize page speed, application performance, bundle size, and third-party scripts and pixels.
Configure tracking and consent tooling to support privacy compliance, including CPRA requirements.
Own engineering architecture, technology stack choices, security decisions, vendor and contractor decisions, and database selection.
Lead development of an iOS-first React Native consumer application.
Build and operate LLM-powered agents and internal tools with evaluations, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop safeguards.
Use AI, automation, low-code tools, scripts, and workflows to improve execution and reduce manual work.
Partner directly with the CEO on high-priority product and infrastructure problems.

At least 3 years of experience as a full-stack engineer with a strong record of shipping consumer products to production.
Proficiency in TypeScript and React, supported by shipped production applications.
Proficiency in Python or Node.js and experience shipping fast, reliable code.
Hands-on experience with Shopify and Recharge integrations.
Demonstrated web performance optimization experience, including page speed, bundle size, and third-party script management.
Experience building and shipping consumer-facing React Native applications, ideally with an iOS-first focus.
Experience implementing privacy compliance tooling for consent management and data handling requirements.
Ability to make architecture and security decisions with minimal guidance, including database and vendor selection.
Familiarity with building or deploying LLM-powered agents or AI automation tools is preferred.
Degree in engineering, computer science, or mathematics, or equivalent demonstrated experience shipping software products.
