Responsibilities
- Drive the evolution of the Quality Engineering organization for Commerce & Growth.
- Develop quality strategy, processes, tools, and organization-wide adoption.
- Improve product quality through systems, tools, and automation.
- Lead qualification of large-scale server-side systems and user interfaces.
- Lead technical organizations through change and establish strategy, direction, and goals.
- Develop technical leaders and drive cross-functional alignment across distributed teams.
- Plan and lead software release cycles.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in quality engineering.
- Experience leading large technical organizations through change.
- Expertise in QA/QE practices and improving quality through processes, systems, and automation.
- Strong technical leadership and architecture judgment, with the ability to engage in deep technical detail and strategic thinking.
- Experience developing technical leaders and setting clear strategy, direction, and goals.
- Experience working with distributed teams across cultures, geographies, and time zones.
- Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to create clarity amid ambiguity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
- Preferred: experience testing server-side systems.
- Preferred: experience planning and leading software release cycles.
