Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test summaries for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using automation tools and technologies for continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Perform manual testing of web-based and API-based applications, including complex scenarios, edge cases, and user experience issues.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify test scenarios and align testing with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries for data validation and verification.
- Analyze, document, track, and resolve defects, issues, and discrepancies using issue tracking systems.
- Support test strategy activities involving the integration of multiple applications and systems.
- Provide technical guidance on QA processes, tools, and methodologies, and advocate for software testing best practices.
- Use AI-powered tools and Agentic AI/GenAI assistants to improve test design, test automation, defect analysis, root cause investigation, and QE productivity.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies and incorporate relevant knowledge into QA practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in complete software testing activities.
- Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle and software testing life cycle.
- Strong technical proficiency with Java, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, and Python.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL for data manipulation, querying, and validation.
- Experience with API testing tools including Postman and RestAssured.
- Experience with Linux operating system command-line tools.
- Experience supporting test strategy for integrated applications and systems.
- Experience testing web-based and API-based systems for user experience issues.
- Ability to proactively resolve issues, escalate appropriately, work independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Experience with indexes, benchmarks, asset management, or portfolio investment modeling is preferred.
- Experience with market data such as equity, commodity, forex, or options asset classes is preferred.
