Base Salary

$115k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

Execute functional, UAT, regression, and control testing for electronic trading applications.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Validate new functionality, enhancements, releases, trading controls, and risk-management controls.
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
Partner with Trading, Quantitative Research, Technology, Risk, and Compliance stakeholders to clarify requirements and expected outcomes.
Support test automation initiatives and regulatory, compliance, and audit-related testing.
Maintain accurate, audit-ready testing documentation and evidence.
Provide testing status and release-readiness updates.

Experience in QA, UAT, or application testing within capital markets.
Knowledge of electronic trading platforms, trading workflows, algorithmic trading, and trading controls.
Experience working with Trading, Technology, or Quantitative teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to translate business, technical, and control requirements into test cases.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar tools.
Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
Working knowledge of SQL and one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or .NET.
Ability to analyze application logs and test results.
Preferred: experience supporting electronic or algorithmic trading environments; knowledge of FX, Fixed Income, Equities, or ETFs; familiarity with MiFID and 15c3-5; and experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
