Base Salary
$120k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and implement robust automated test suites.
- Integrate automated test suites with build and deployment processes.
- Maintain automated tests as system design and architecture change.
- Implement automation frameworks using existing tools including JIRA.
- Create, manage, and use defect workflows with automated test execution.
- Design and publish metrics supporting automation test creation.
- Perform functional, API, automation, performance, and load testing.
- Collaborate with development, testing, engineering, and product management teams on feature-based testing.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of QA engineering delivery experience.
- At least 4 years delivering within Agile SDLC teams, ideally with CI/CD.
- Java programming experience focused on BDD, TDD, design patterns, and CI/CD environments.
- Experience with Java microservices and REST APIs, plus exposure to React front ends.
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Proficiency with Maven, Sonar, Git, TeamCity or Jenkins, and Docker.
- Hands-on experience with JUnit, RestAssured, Playwright, Protractor, and JMeter.
- Preferred experience with AI integration, banking or finance environments, and ETL process testing.
- Prior managerial experience in a hands-on test engineering environment.
