Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and drive the enterprise vision, strategy, roadmap, standards, metrics, release criteria, and automation objectives for test automation and quality engineering.
- Architect scalable, resilient, cloud-native test automation solutions and make high-impact decisions on testing frameworks, tools, and integrations.
- Partner with platform architects and DevOps teams to integrate quality gates and automated validation throughout deployment pipelines.
- Lead technical reviews, training, mentoring, knowledge sharing, root-cause analysis, and preventative actions for high-severity incidents.
- Build consensus across product teams around standardized test tools, frameworks, and reusable components.
- Lead multiple concurrent cross-team testing initiatives, managing budgets, resources, roadmaps, risks, traceability, compliance, and reporting.
- Research and adopt emerging testing technologies, including AI/ML in testing, autonomous testing, and advanced observability.
- Track quality metrics and improve performance, security, reliability, efficiency, test coverage, and defect prevention across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in quality engineering, automation, or software development, including recent leadership responsibilities in large, complex engineering environments.
- Proven expertise architecting and scaling test automation for distributed, cloud-native systems.
- Track record of influencing enterprise strategy and leading transformation initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency with Python or modern object-oriented languages; experience with advertising technology or large-scale systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices and agile approaches, with a strong focus on establishing and improving product quality.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Benefits
- Full-time position with a stated California hiring range of $171,600-$230,100 per year and New York hiring range of $179,700-$241,000 per year.
- Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided in addition to medical, financial, and other benefits.
- Primary location is New York, NY, with an alternate California location.
