Responsibilities
- Build MVPs with practicing tax advisors to address concrete workflow problems.
- Translate complex advisory and regulatory processes into software requirements and working implementations.
- Iterate rapidly based on feedback from non-technical domain experts.
- Own features end-to-end from requirements gathering and scoping through production deployment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building and shipping production full-stack software.
- Fluent spoken and written German is required.
- Strong proficiency with NestJS, Express, or a similar Node.js-based backend framework.
- Strong proficiency with React or an equivalent modern frontend framework.
- Solid full-stack TypeScript skills.
- Experience owning features end-to-end and gathering requirements directly from non-technical stakeholders.
- A code-first mindset without reliance on low-code or no-code platforms.
- Experience in financial services, tax, accounting, or another regulated advisory domain is preferred.
- Familiarity with German business processes or the German regulatory environment is preferred.
- Background in consulting, professional services, or high-performance operational environments is advantageous.
Benefits
- Salary of €60,000–€120,000 per year depending on experience.
