Responsibilities
- Design and develop the LDT software solution.
- Validate and globally integrate developed software.
- Analyze anomalies and maintain previous software versions across the product lifecycle.
- Maintain and improve the development environment using continuous integration and DevOps practices.
- Contribute to software architecture based on existing product components.
- Collaborate with other Thales product teams in a scaled Agile framework.
- Provide L1, L2, and L3 user support on GIS topics.
- Manage and customize GIS software deployments, architectures, licensing servers, and databases.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent background, with initial software-development experience or completion of a relevant project.
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins and configuration management with Git.
- Proficiency in Python, PyQGIS, arcpy, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Strong knowledge of QGIS; ArcGIS Pro knowledge is advantageous.
- Knowledge of GeoServer, with GeoNode as a bonus.
- Windows and Linux system skills.
- Knowledge of GIS architecture, deployment, and customization using GeoServer, QGIS, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Pro.
- Knowledge of GIS licensing servers such as FlexNet and GIS database management using PostGIS, SDE, and SQL.
- FME or other ETL experience and Microsoft Azure or another cloud environment are advantageous.
- Fluent English is required; French is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, autonomy, initiative, rigor, and continuous-learning skills.
