Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the architecture of backend solutions.
- Develop and maintain unified software solutions using coding standards.
- Create automation and integrations to improve business processes.
- Investigate, analyze, and fix software bugs while operating deployed systems.
- Contribute to the strategic technology direction for Savings, Investments, and Bank Assurance.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Guild and facilitate community contributions.
- Lead code reviews and make final technical decisions.
- Coach and mentor engineers across domains.
- Work with cross-functional teams to refine user stories and improve customer experiences.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software development as a Node.js backend engineer.
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Excellent knowledge of integration patterns using REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and a DevOps mindset.
- Experience with Git, pipelines, package management, and unit/integration testing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business colleagues and engineers.
- Knowledge of React is a plus.
