Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end test planning for issuer and issuer processor applications and complex payment features.
- Coordinate test design and execution for domestic and cross-border wire payment flows.
- Create test scenarios and cases in HP ALM and maintain traceability, coverage, and risk-based testing records.
- Configure and maintain Xray Test Management assets and reporting.
- Perform mobile testing on iOS and Android devices, including usability, performance, security, accessibility, and compatibility validation.
- Conduct functional, regression, system integration, and end-to-end testing for applications, APIs, issuer processing, and wire payments.
- Use Postman and SQL-based validations to verify API behavior, data integrity, ledger entries, and transaction consistency.
- Develop reusable test data strategies for issuer accounts, card products, and payment messages.
- Review defects, participate in triage, and partner with engineering and product teams on remediation priorities.
- Prepare test summary reports, risk assessments, release-readiness updates, and quality trend communications.
- Validate ISO-style payment message structures, SWIFT messages, and related schemas when applicable.
- Mentor junior quality engineers on test design, issuer processing, wire payments, and testing tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science, or a related field with a software quality engineering focus.
- Seven to eleven years of hands-on experience testing complex enterprise applications across multiple Agile release cycles.
- Strong proficiency with HP ALM for requirements traceability, test execution tracking, test design, and defect lifecycle management.
- Practical expertise with Xray Test Management, including test repositories, reusable test sets, and integrated reporting.
- Advanced mobile testing experience on iOS and Android, including native applications, responsive layouts, accessibility, and device compatibility.
- Proven experience using Postman for API test automation, parameterization, environment management, and payment-service response verification.
- Solid SQL knowledge for data validation, ledger reconciliation, and cross-system transaction consistency checks.
- Mandatory experience with issuer and issuer processor operations and wire payments, including authorization, clearing, settlement, and exception handling.
- Familiarity with payment message formats and SWIFT-style practices.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or equivalent software testing certification preferred, along with an Agile testing credential.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities.
