Responsibilities
- Design, write, refactor, and re-architect maintainable software and complex web applications.
- Design and manage REST API stacks and contribute to GraphQL-based systems.
- Develop and architect backend microservices for the search and merchandising platform.
- Contribute to technical and product specifications, architecture decisions, code reviews, and design reviews.
- Test software for reliability and robustness.
- Occasionally develop frontend components, SDKs, and platform integrations for end-to-end delivery.
- Design scalable, performance-driven systems and prototype architecture solutions when needed.
- Drive technical leadership, architecture governance, engineering best practices, and improvements to development tools and frameworks.
- Integrate the product with ML and NLP engines.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech degree.
- At least 3 years of total professional software development experience.
- Hands-on full-stack development experience with Node.js.
- Frontend development experience with Vue.js and the ability to make UI changes when required.
- Experience designing and managing REST APIs and familiarity with GraphQL.
- Understanding of systems architecture and scalable, performance-driven solution design.
- Experience with software development practices, code and design reviews, and Agile methodologies.
- Fluent English communication for technical and non-technical discussions.
