Responsibilities
- Develop strategy for application and data modernization priorities across Cloud + AI customers.
- Design and build repeatable, code-based intellectual property, automation, and delivery solutions for Microsoft teams and partners.
- Provide hands-on application modernization and database migration expertise.
- Build field content and skilling for agentic modernization tools.
- Architect customer solutions, resolve blockers and escalations, and deliver new offerings through direct customer engagements.
- Build stakeholder relationships, share customer insights, and influence Engineering teams and Microsoft’s product roadmap.
- Promote AI adoption and maintain current knowledge of cloud trends and competitive insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and proven experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, or cloud/infrastructure technologies, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, or cloud/infrastructure technologies is preferred.
- Proven customer-facing experience and experience working on technical projects.
- Comfort with modern developer tools and environments and contributing to code-based intellectual property.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, Azure Migrate, and Azure Database Migration Service.
- Application modernization experience with .NET or Java applications on Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps, AKS, Azure Functions, or API Management.
- Database migration and modernization experience involving SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Cassandra, or MongoDB and Azure database services.
- Experience building reusable intellectual property, accelerators, or delivery assets for field teams or partners.
- Technical cloud certification, such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, or a security certification.
Benefits
- Typical base pay in the United Kingdom is £61,900.00–£105,500.00 per year.
- Typical base pay in the Netherlands is €65,100.00–€110,000.00 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position is open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
