Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and account managers in an assigned territory.
- Understand customer objectives and articulate how Elastic offerings address their needs.
- Own value-based relationships with stakeholders throughout customer organizations.
- Participate in territory planning and execution from discovery through the technical win.
- Demonstrate Elastic products and solutions in sales meetings, meetups, and conferences.
- Advise sales teams on positioning Elastic products, solutions, and services.
- Onboard, educate, and enable partners while supporting them in sales cycles.
- Create collateral and contribute to programs tailored to client needs.
- Communicate customer and community needs, gaps, and improvement opportunities to engineering and leadership.
- Travel 30% within the region and occasionally internationally.
Requirements
- Track record of success in a technical presales role, including selling and implementing technology.
- Proven ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software, and technologies.
- Passion for curiosity, continuous learning, and professional self-development.
- History of successful customer relationships and developing architectures that address goals and problems.
- Ability to influence teams on ideas, technologies, or architectural patterns.
- Ability to inspire and present to both large and small groups.
