Responsibilities
- Design and implement user interfaces that make complex investing concepts accessible.
- Build visually rich Android user experiences with a strong focus on UX and custom UI.
- Experiment with new technologies to maximize the Android platform.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code with security treated as a first-class concern.
- Own the full app lifecycle from ideation through delivery to the Play Store.
- Contribute to technical and product improvements across the platform.
- Stay current with the Android technology landscape and framework changes.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or natural sciences, or a comparable qualification.
- Exposure to or interest in Kotlin, RxJava, Coroutines, Compose, Dagger, and GraphQL API.
- Strong analytical thinking across technical and product domains.
- Passion for delivering excellent UX and working with custom UI.
- Clear, concise communication with engineering, product, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to changes in the Android framework.
- Interest in other technology stacks.
- Prior fintech experience is an asset but not required; interest in investing is desirable.
