Responsibilities
- Build scalable backend services with Node.js for the platform supporting Smadex’s real-time bidding ecosystem.
- Help integrate agentic AI and automation using LangChain and AWS Bedrock.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, deployment, and the full software development lifecycle.
- Manage and protect cloud infrastructure using AWS WAF, CloudFront, and related AWS services.
- Develop clean, testable, performant software with attention to security and data integrity.
- Investigate problems, propose solutions, and collaborate across frontend and backend concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; candidates in their last year of study may also qualify.
- Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Professional software development experience, ideally with Node.js or Angular.
- Backend candidates should have strong Node.js skills and an emphasis on scalability, security, and data integrity.
- Frontend-oriented candidates should have deep Angular and TypeScript knowledge and understand API integration.
- Knowledge of modern web application architecture, including the path from user interaction to database query.
- Ability to write clean, testable code with attention to performance and security.
- Curiosity about LLMs, AI agents, and AI orchestration tools, with experimentation or willingness to learn preferred.
- Familiarity with Git workflows and basic clean-code principles.
- Good English reading and writing skills for technical documentation.
- Basic Linux and terminal skills are a bonus.
- Experience with Angular, Node.js, or AWS services is beneficial.
