Base Salary
$117k - $172k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build backend capabilities, API surfaces, and authentication flows for Stytch’s identity platform.
- Design and deliver high-impact customer-facing roadmap features in partnership with product and engineering leadership.
- Collaborate across Twilio and Stytch teams on architecture, platform integration, and cross-team initiatives.
- Author design documents, make technical decisions, review code, and maintain ownership of shipped systems.
- Improve production quality and resilience through observability, incident response, and remediation.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience designing, building, and operating high-scale, mission-critical cloud-based production systems.
- Familiarity with production-grade codebases in a modern programming language and high-quality coding practices.
- Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related industry experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekend and holiday on-call rotations.
